Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1 Windows Mobile-powered handset is still more than half a year off but the SE PR team decided to give us a little prototype demo at the Mobile Focus event at Mobile World Congress (3GSM) 2008 in Barcelona, Spain.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 features a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, slide out QWERTY keyboard, and, best of all, a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen!

    The level of maturity on youtube is staggering. Nice looking phone, hope its not a sluggish model like the HTC diamond turned out.

    this isnt for at&t… its not for any network in paticular. its an unlocked phone thats gonna be around 600 dollars. so if u want a hot phone thats not too exensive, get the iphone. but if want a great phone thats ahead of every other company, than get this 1. im 14 and i hve been mowing lawns for 2 months so i can save up for this and buy it

    sony ericsson suppressed 2,000 jobs this year. i doubt this one will sell well, iphone is eating the market. they should rethink their strategy and the UI.
